This place is so cute with lovely paintings on the wall. The pasta portions are huge — the sauce is super flavourful and the shrimp is perfectly succulent. Honestly, the quality you get for such a reasonable price is amazing.

My wife, 6-year-old daughter, and myself ate here on Valentine’s Day. My wife got the Pappardelle Bolognese, which was extremely creamy and flavorful. My daughter got the kids Alfredo and she was in love with it. I got the Alfredo and added prawns. The Alfredo sauce was deliciously cheesy and is always my go-to pasta dish. Alcoholic beverages were delicious and modestly priced. They brought out a dough ball for my daughter to play with while we ate our appetizer and waited for our entrees. She even got a complimentary ice cream bar, which really made her night. I’d highly recommend Paesanos if you’re in the mood for Italian, but definitely make a reservation because it’s an extremely popular spot!

I rarely give 5 star reviews, but for what this restaurant offers and represents (quick stop/bite), it is top-notch! Nestled in a quaint shopping area in downtown Davis, this lovely little restaurant is just minutes off of I-80. They have their own bakery that prepares the dough for the pizza and bakes the breads for their sandwiches. Simply amazing! Crispy on the outside, and soft and chewy on the inside! I am sure that if the pizza is made with the same crust it will be amazing! We enjoyed their grilled chicken sandwich. So, if you're a hungry traveler looking for a tasty bite to eat, stop in! You will not be disappointed.

We frequently go to the Paesano’s in Sacramento, but decided to try the location in Davis since it’s a bit closer to home. The atmosphere was fine. It wasn’t anything special or to write home about. The service was great and we never waited too long for anything. Our server was kind enough to go get answers for a couple of our questions. Overall, the food was good too! Our only complaint was with the gluten free pizza. We’ve ordered this multiple times at the Sacramento location and it’s fantastic. I’m not sure what’s different this location, but it was not good. The crust was so thin and hard that it almost wasn’t edible. It tasted extremely bland and was the consistency/grittiness of cornmeal or uncooked southern grits. The crust wasn’t burnt and didn’t appear overcooked. I’m not sure why it was so gross, but it definitely was not the same as what we’ve gotten in the past in Sacramento nor was it “the best GF pizza I’ve ever had,” as many reviews claim it to be.

It is a nice place to have dinner and hang out with folks. Food was ok. Pizza was a bit tough on the edges, which is weird for that style of pizza but nice toppings. I ordered an old fashioned, which was made with an ice chips, that was melting super fast (reason to use a single block of ice; large block rather than ice chips). I had to remove them. But the drink was good overall. Tiramissu was good.

the servers that helped at our table were friendly and checked on us multiple times throughout our stay. the food was pretty good. the calamari came out fast but was pretty plain on its own. the batter was crumbly and had a bit of a greasy aftertaste. both sauces were good - usually I prefer the mayo/tartar sauces but the red sauce was really good with it. the baked pasta was nice but in the future I'd go without the chicken add-on. it just made the dish harder to mix and it was already a lot of food. I also didn't realize it came with garlic bread which I was really happy about. I can't speak on the spaghetti since it wasn't my dish but my partner seemed to like it. I'd try paesanos again but maybe go for something new next time. :)

This used to be the old Fuzios back in my day. Now an Italian restaurant that can be busy on a Friday night with larger parties. Both indoor and outdoor seating, full bar and lively! The perfect Italian spot, me and my college BFF met up for dinner and we sat outside so we didn’t have to wait an hour, it was a little cold and no heaters. We started with a large Caesar salad and added chicken (so good!), bocce balls (nice and doughy and chewy with cheese and oil), we probably could have shared one pasta together but I was carb loading for a half marathon. We got the Spaghetti Carbonara and Fettucini Arrostiti (already comes with chicken) which our server recommended as a popular one. We were stuffed after our meal with pasta leftovers that are still good the next day! There’s street parking surrounding but it gets busy in Davis. We were also able to split our check.
